Author Guidelines

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should consult the complete publishing guidelines and editorial policies available on the official website of Intelligence Info, www.intelligenceinfo.org.

The journal accepts academic works in Romanian and English. Articles written in Romanian or French must also include the title, abstract, and keywords in English.

Manuscript preparation

The manuscript should be uploaded in an editable format, preferably Microsoft Word (.docx).

Authors are advised to provide:

  • a clear and representative title;

  • an abstract of approximately 200–300 words;

  • 5–8 keywords or key phrases;

  • an academic structure appropriate to the type of work;

  • consistent citations and references, preferably according to APA Style, 7th edition;

  • DOI identifiers for cited sources wherever available;

  • properly numbered tables and figures that are referred to in the text.

Material originating from other sources must be used lawfully and appropriately attributed.

Submission metadata

The corresponding author must accurately complete the metadata requested in OJS for all authors, including:

  • author names;

  • institutional affiliations;

  • country;

  • email address;

  • ORCID identifier, where available;

  • keywords;

  • funding sources or supporting agencies, where applicable;

  • competing interests;

  • references;

  • a Data Availability Statement, where relevant.

The reference list entered in OJS must correspond to the final bibliography of the manuscript before the article can be definitively accepted.

Where no competing interests exist, the authors should explicitly state this.

For works in which no research datasets were generated or analysed, this may be stated accordingly in the Data Availability Statement.

Authorship and originality

The manuscript must represent an original contribution and must not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal.

The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors:

  • have made an appropriate contribution to the work;

  • have approved the submitted version;

  • agree with the order of authorship;

  • have approved submission of the manuscript to Cunoașterea Științifică.

If the work or an earlier version has previously been made publicly available as a preprint, report, conference paper, thesis, translation, or other relevant form, the Editorial Board must be informed at the time of submission.

Use of artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.

Any substantial use of generative artificial intelligence tools in writing, analysis, data processing or generation, image creation, or other components of the research must be transparently disclosed.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, citations, interpretations, and final content of the submitted manuscript.

Use limited to minor spelling, grammar, language, or stylistic corrections may be exempt from disclosure where it does not substantially alter the intellectual content of the work.

Evaluation

All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening.

Works that meet the journal’s scope and requirements are submitted to peer review.

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee its acceptance for publication. The final publication decision rests with the journal’s Editorial Board.

Publication fee and DOI

The journal does not charge any manuscript submission fee or any fee for editorial evaluation or peer review.

A EUR 10 publication fee is charged for each article definitively accepted for publication. The fee is requested only after final acceptance of the manuscript.

The fee contributes partially to covering publication costs, editorial infrastructure, hosting, DOI and metadata registration and administration, and maintenance of open access to the journal’s content.

Payment of the fee does not influence the peer-review process or the editorial decision.

All academic articles accepted for publication receive a DOI, with no separate DOI fee.

Complete author instructions and journal policies are available on the official website: www.intelligenceinfo.org.

Manuscripts Submitted by Members of the Journal Team

Editors, Editorial Board members, and Scientific Advisory Board members may submit manuscripts for publication. Such submissions are subject to the same editorial criteria and peer-review process as all other manuscripts.

Where an author or co-author holds an editorial or advisory role within the journal, that person is fully excluded from handling the manuscript, selecting reviewers, and making the editorial decision. The submission is assigned to an independent editor with no competing interest.

Graphical Abstract

Authors may optionally submit a Graphical Abstract that visually summarises the objective, methodology, key findings and/or conclusion of the article. The material must accurately reflect the content of the work and comply with copyright requirements.

The Graphical Abstract may be created using graphic applications or artificial intelligence-based tools, with the authors remaining fully responsible for the accuracy and content of the final version.

Full requirements and recommendations are available on the journal’s Graphical Abstract page.
